Up-date on Meizi Meilin

Meizi is a total joy and blessing! She spreads sunshine every where she goes and is the most loving, social baby I have ever seen. She has her 2nd eye surgery today to correct her crossed eyes and is beautiful! She took the nurses, anesthesiologist and surgeon by the hand and patted her hand on the floor to sit down and play with her. She only just met most of these people today.

She is very intelligent and pays attention to details in an uncanny fashion. The recent photo I posted is her at Easter. The photo studio had bunnies to take photos with and when the photographer placed the flower and bunny by Meizi's side, the bunny jumped away. Meizi caught him and placed him in the same exact spot that the photographer had placed him and then moved the flower back to the same spot;-) The photographer said in all her 23 years of photographing children, she had never seen a 2 yr old do that.

Meizi is still a little peanut. She weighs 25 lbs now and is 36" but has the tiniest waist and is so petite that her 18 month shorts and pants still fall around her ankles and she eats really well and eats every thing.

I hope to have more up-dates, more frequently.
